Accreditations

     First Chance Center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities to provide employment services and community support. CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of human service providers in the areas of aging services, behavioral health, child and youth services, employment and community services, medical rehabilitation, and many other programs. The CARF family of organizations currently accredits more than 5,000 providers at more than 18,000 locations in the United States, Canada, Western Europe, and South America. More than 6.5 million persons of all ages are served annually by CARF-accredited providers.

Professional Memberships

     Our professional memberships include Indiana Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (INSHARP) and the Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (INARF).

     First Chance Center received INSHARP recertification for all three sites for a period of two years. INSHARP certification ensures that FCC is in compliance with all safety requirements.

     INARF is a statewide organization which provides leadership and support in the development of resources to effectively serve the comprehensive needs of people with disabilities. INARF maintains important relationships with governmental agencies responsible for Indiana’s human service programs, promotes networking opportunities among members, coordinates quality professional development programs, and offers technical assistance to members.
